Datatech ehf. wants everyone to be able to use our website, whatever their disability, age, device or circumstances. People often come to us under stress after losing data, and they should not have to fight the website as well.
This statement applies to datatech.is in all of its languages: Icelandic, English, Polish and Spanish. It follows the model accessibility statement set out under Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) level AA and the corresponding requirements of EN 301 549. Partially conformant means that most of the content meets the requirements, but the items listed below do not yet.
The following content is not yet fully accessible. We are working on it and update this list as we go.
This statement does not cover internal systems used only by staff and partners (the dashboard and the partner portal), or third-party content we do not control, such as payment pages and embedded maps.
This is a self-assessment by Datatech. Every public page was tested with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA success criteria, in the light and dark themes, at desktop and mobile widths. Contrast is also measured by our own audit, which reads the actual colour behind every piece of text. Automated tests find only some accessibility problems, so we regularly add manual testing with a keyboard and screen readers.
If you find something that is not accessible, or you need content from the site in another format, please let us know. We reply within five working days and will find another way to give you the information or service while we fix the problem.
The accessibility of this site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. It is built for the current versions of the major browsers.
This statement was prepared on 31 October 2026 and last reviewed on 31 October 2026. We review it at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
