Smartphone data recovery is billed by the hour because projects vary greatly in complexity and the amount of work required.
Projects typically take 6–12 hours plus spare parts if needed. We always provide a quote before work begins.
* If we are unable to recover your data, you only pay 50% of the labour cost plus spare parts. If a data-recovery quote is not accepted, the diagnostic work is billed at the hourly rate in accordance with our terms.

How much does smartphone data recovery cost?
The hourly rate for smartphone data recovery is 19,697 ISK/hr excl. VAT. Projects typically take 6–12 hours plus spare parts if needed. We always provide a quote before work begins.
How long does data recovery take?
We ask customers to allow at least 30 days for smartphone data recovery. The time depends on the complexity of the failure and whether spare parts are needed.
What if the data recovery is unsuccessful?
If we are unable to recover your data, you only pay 50% of the labour cost plus the cost of any spare parts purchased for the project.
Can you recover data from phones with a broken screen?
Yes, we can often recover data even if the screen is broken. We use specialised equipment to access the data without needing to use the screen.
What if I don't accept the data-recovery quote I receive after diagnosis?
You will receive an invoice for the diagnostic work and you'll need to let us know whether you want us to dispose of the device or have it returned to you at your own expense.
